For this graphic project ( the stereographic Oasis vinyl record cover ) I spent around 50 dollars for printing only (yess I know someone who spent more hehehe).
Left : First attempt, A0 - 22 dollars. I needed to change the layout a bit. I'm so happy with the colour.
Right : Second attempt, 2 A1@10 dollars. The story is : It's a large format printing and there are not many choices of papers. However, there's a print shop in Sunshine Plaza that allows us to bring our own paper (although it's very risky for the printer itself!), and the lecturers told us to do so (and I think almost everyone in Level 2 CommD went there to print. wow. imagine the money and the queue). And the printer spoilt 2 days before assessment. I think it's because of the (too many) risky papers.
I went there with my own 2 pieces of A1 paper and I wasn't happy with the colour. See the difference?
I printed for the 3rd time with a different way and different paper and I was happy :) Thanks God :)
A Portfolio, done for God and with God :)
This illustration project, (the recipe), was thankfully not to big hahahaha, I mean it's slightly smaller than A3 so the pricing couldn't be too extreme like the graphic one.
Print. Rejected. Print. Something's wrong. Print. Print. Print again. Print..
Yah and less then a week before assessment, I changed the format a little ( adding an extra cover page and separating the ingredients and the instructions ). Oh. I also changed the title. Hahahahaha.
